Jason Oxner

Jason Oxner is an experienced attorney located in Houston, Texas, specializing in Estate Planning, Business Litigation and Transactions, Probate, and Civil Law. He graduated summa cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, ranking in the top 5% of his class. During his time in law school, he served as an associate editor for the Law Review, was elected Mr. Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and taught Real Property for two years.

A Canadian citizen, Jason relocated to Massachusetts in 2002 on an academic and athletic scholarship at the Groton School, excelling in hockey and rowing. He continued his rowing career at Trinity College in Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and served as an assistant rowing coach.

Before co-founding Oxner Legha, PLLC, Jason gained experience in the Athletic Department at West Virginia University under Athletic Director Oliver Luck. There, he contributed to securing a minor league baseball stadium agreement and handled various vendor agreements and business transactions.

Jason began his litigation career at Abraham Watkins, the oldest personal injury law firm in Texas, focusing on Personal Injury and Business disputes. He then transitioned to Business Law at Baylor College of Medicine in the Houston Medical Center, where he represented doctors and researchers during negotiations for new drugs and devices with private pharmaceutical companies.

His academic achievements include graduating in the top 5% of his class at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and earning first-in-class honors in Real Property Law, Consumer Rights Law, Oil and Gas Law, and Business Associations Law. He is also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
