About Caryn Gomer
Caryn Carter Gomer has been a passionate advocate for families since joining the firm in 2019. Her legal journey began in the Family Violence Unit at the El Paso County Attorney’s Office, where she honed her commitment to supporting children and families. After leaving El Paso, Caryn moved to Dallas, Texas, where she expanded her expertise at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas and worked with smaller firms. Her practice encompasses a wide array of family law matters, including divorces, enforcement suits, modification suits, original suits affecting the parent-child relationship, and Child Protective Services cases. Caryn has effectively represented both English and Spanish-speaking clients throughout her career.
Originally from Kansas City, Caryn graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society in 2002. She pursued her legal education at the University of Kansas School of Law, graduating in 2005. Drawn to Texas, she has established her professional life in the state ever since.
Outside of her legal practice, Caryn enjoys spending time with her two children and their two dogs. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, and hiking.
