Peter Walter Weston

Peter Walter Weston brings over 35 years of legal expertise to his practice in Humble, Texas. He has been Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Consumer Bankruptcy and Business Bankruptcy since 1994.

Peter earned his business degree from Texas Tech University before pursuing a law degree at South Texas College of Law, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and participated in the Spurgeon Mock Trial Team.

Before embarking on his legal career, Peter served as an Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University. He also holds a real estate broker’s license. Recognized by his peers, Peter is an AV Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell with a perfect rating of 5.

Peter is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Houston Association of Debtor Attorneys. He is licensed to practice in Texas State and Federal Courts and frequently participates in the International Bankruptcy Law Conference.

Outside his professional life, Peter has been married to his wife Kathy for over 30 years. His family includes his eldest son, a former police officer now with the Department of Justice, and his youngest son Mike, who is also an attorney. Peter enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and three grandsons. As an Eagle Scout, he is passionate about outdoor activities.
