Porya Mostaghimi

Porya Mostaghimi serves as a partner at The PM Law Firm, PLLC in Houston, Texas, where he works across all areas of civil litigation. His primary focus includes commercial litigation, personal injury, and bad faith insurance litigation.

Raised in Houston, Porya earned his undergraduate degree with high honors from The University of Houston in 2005. He then graduated from the Baylor School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers. He has been admitted to practice law in Texas since 2008.

Before joining The PM Law Firm, Porya practiced as a solo attorney handling a variety of cases. He is committed to delivering efficient advocacy for insurance policyholders and claimants who have been wrongfully denied or underpaid. His extensive experience includes representing clients in insurance law, covering insurance claim presentation, business income loss claims, coverage disputes, bad faith issues, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and first-party insurance litigation.

In addition to his work in insurance law, Porya has experience in personal injury, criminal defense, and family law. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association, and he volunteers with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program. Porya is fluent in Farsi.
