Vonnie Clay Dones III

Vonnie Clay Dones III is the principal attorney and founder of Legalcleanup.com, a general practice law firm providing legal services in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Washington D.C. Dones has a robust background in criminal law, having served as a Criminal Prosecutor at the Harris County District Attorney's Office. During his tenure, he managed an extensive caseload of approximately 2,600 misdemeanor and felony cases.

Dones further honed his legal skills as a Staff Attorney at the Earl Carl Institute at Thurgood Marshall College of Law. In this role, he supervised law students and represented juveniles in court throughout Harris County and its surrounding areas.

Before establishing Legalcleanup.com, Dones contributed as a legal assistant in the City of Cleveland's Office of Fair Housing & Consumer Affairs. Here, he supported efforts to protect residents from fraudulent business practices and unfair housing treatment.

Dones holds a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Prior to his legal career, he was involved in the music industry as a recording artist with Violator / Def Jam Recordings / Polygram Records. His experience in entertainment law is enriched by collaborations with industry leaders such as Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen, and the late Chris Lighty.

In addition to his legal practice, Dones is the founder of a marketing and entertainment promotions agency.
