Casey Davis

Casey Davis is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with a focus on safeguarding the rights of individuals accused of crimes. With a reputation for her assertive legal style, she is well-regarded in Collin, Tarrant, and Denton Counties. Her practice is centered on guiding clients through challenging situations toward favorable outcomes.

Casey has extensive experience, having worked in the Tarrant and Denton County District Attorney’s Offices in departments such as Crimes Against Children, Juvenile, and Family Violence. She has participated in over 50 jury trials and is committed to presenting cases to a jury when necessary to achieve justice.

During her tenure as a prosecutor, Casey presented over 1,000 felony cases to the grand jury and collaborated with local law enforcement to prepare cases for grand jury proceedings. Her comprehensive courtroom experience includes punishment hearings, motions to suppress, bench trials, probation revocation hearings, and bond reduction hearings. This extensive background informs her defense practice, ensuring she is fully prepared to advocate for her clients in any legal setting.

A Plano native, Casey graduated from Plano Senior High School and earned a BS in Education from the University of North Texas. Before pursuing law, she taught in Plano and Richardson. Her legal journey began with internships at Easley & Marquis, P.L.L.C. and the Denton County District Attorney’s Office. Casey obtained her Juris Doctorate from Texas A & M University School of Law in 2003. In March 2008, she transitioned from her role as an Assistant District Attorney in Tarrant County to establish Casey Davis Law, Criminal Defense Firm.
