Ashley Raye Hallene

Ashley Raye Hallene plays a pivotal role as a Land Acquisition Specialist at Demeter Land Development, a Michigan-based company that specializes in securing land for renewable energy initiatives, including community solar and battery storage projects. Her expertise extends into the realm of legal technology, where she has contributed to hundreds of articles on technology and law practice management.

In collaboration with attorney Jeffrey Allen, Ashley has co-authored several books, including Technology Tips for Seniors Volume 2.0 (2018), Technology Tips for Lawyers and other Business Professionals (2016), Technology Solutions for Today’s Lawyer (2013), and The iPad for Lawyers (2013). They are also preparing to release two new titles, Unlocking the Future and Scams & Cybercrime Survival Guide, scheduled for 2025.

Her written works have been featured in prominent publications such as GP|SOLO Magazine, Experience Magazine, Attorney at Work, and TechnoLawyer. Ashley is actively involved with the American Bar Association, where she holds leadership positions in the General Practice Solo & Small Firm Division and the Senior Lawyers Division. She also serves as Editor-in-Chief of GP|Solo eReport.

Ashley earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and a B.S. from the University of Houston. She resides in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Jack, and their family.
