About Bradford J. Glendening
Bradford J. Glendening proudly serves the residents of Bell, Coryell, and Williamson Counties, including servicemembers and their families stationed at Fort Hood. Bradford earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the Valparaiso University School of Law in 2000. He began his legal career by joining the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps in 2002, driven by his passion for law and commitment to the war on terror. After leaving active duty in 2010, he transitioned to the Army Reserves and founded his own practice to assist clients with criminal, military, and family legal matters.
During his tenure in the JAG Corps, Bradford held significant roles, including Chief of Legal Assistance and Chief of Client Services at Fort Huachuca, AZ, and served as a Trial Counsel (military prosecutor) and Special Assistant to the U.S. Attorney in Tucson, AZ. His international experience includes serving as Senior Trial Counsel for the 1st Infantry Division in Würzburg, Germany, and Officer-in-Charge at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. At Fort Hood, TX, he served as Trial Defense Counsel. Currently, he is the Senior Defense Counsel of the 22nd Legal Operations Detachment in San Antonio (Reserve Component).
Bradford's military service has been recognized with several awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Award, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon.
Before attending law school, Bradford enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1990. He served with the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, California, and deployed with the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment (Field Artillery) as part of Operations "Desert Shield" and "Desert Storm." His unit also participated in Operation "Sea Angel" in Bangladesh, a significant military disaster relief effort credited with saving numerous lives.
