Michael Valiente

Michael S. Valiente, a partner at Valiente Mott, transitioned from a leading insurance defense trial firm in Nevada to advocate for individuals rather than insurance companies. He specializes in representing victims of car accidents, defective products, and catastrophic injuries, offering unparalleled client service.

Michael's commitment to client care stems from a personal incident in his youth when he was involved in a serious car accident. The experience with his own attorney, who provided poor service and settled the case unsatisfactorily, motivated him to ensure that clients at Valiente Mott receive attentive and effective representation.

Before pursuing law, Michael was a top real estate professional in Las Vegas, assisting hundreds of clients with residential real estate and raw land transactions. His business thrived on word-of-mouth due to his exceptional customer service.

Michael graduated at the top of his class from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and later from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. At Boyd, he earned the CALI award five times for excellence in legal writing, Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Contracts. He was a member of Boyd’s National Moot Court team, winning Best Brief at the Sutherland Cup Moot Court Competition.

Michael was the sole recipient of the prestigious James E. Rogers Scholastic Achievement Award in his graduating class. Additionally, he was honored with the Scribes, The American Society of Legal Writers Award, alongside only three peers.
