D. Scott Crook

D. Scott Crook is a distinguished attorney based in Bountiful, Utah, with a primary focus on labor and employment law. He represents both major employers and high-level employees, including executives and professionals. Throughout his career, Mr. Crook has achieved numerous successes in trials, arbitrations, and appeals.

Mr. Crook's expertise extends beyond employment law to include civil litigation, real property and probate disputes, land use matters, water law, and appellate advocacy. He has argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the Utah Supreme Court, and the Utah Court of Appeals.

A graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, Mr. Crook earned his J.D. in 1996, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. During his studies, he contributed to the BYU Law Review and served as an associate editor for the BYU Journal of Public Law.

Following law school, Mr. Crook clerked for Judge William H. Woodland of the Idaho Sixth Judicial District Court and Judge Norman H. Jackson of the Utah Court of Appeals.

In his professional journey, Mr. Crook was a founding partner and past president of a mid-sized Salt Lake City firm and practiced with another esteemed Salt Lake City law firm before establishing Crook Legal Group PLLC.
