Daniel M. Woods

Daniel M. Woods, a distinguished trial lawyer in Draper, Utah, has a proven track record in managing successful trials, including appearances before appellate, trial, and administrative judges. His legal expertise extends across federal, state, and territorial courts.

Before founding Woods Law, Mr. Woods served as a clerk for the Honorable Dale A. Kimball at the United States District Court for the District of Utah. In May 2011, he expanded his legal experience internationally by accepting a role as an Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Territory of American Samoa. During his tenure there, he defended the territory against various civil claims and frequently appeared before the High Court of American Samoa.

In May 2012, Mr. Woods contributed to the legal community as an instructor at the Conference of Western Attorney Generals (CWAG) Alliance Partnership's oral advocacy training for Mexican lawyers in San Diego, CA.

Mr. Woods attributes his legal successes to meticulous preparation and dedication, believing these qualities are crucial for achieving optimal outcomes for his clients. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys outdoor activities, including exploring mountains and lakes, and is an advocate for exercise and continuous learning. He has been a member of the Utah Bar since 2009.
