David Mark Corbett

David Mark Corbett brings a unique blend of passion and creativity to his role at Corbett & Pankratz, PLLC in Herriman, Utah. His journey began with an internship at the Federal District Court in Waco, Texas, during law school, where he learned the importance of genuine belief in clients' rights. These insights fueled his success with Baylor Law School’s renowned mock trial team, earning him the American Board of Trial Advocates award.

After graduating, David chose to serve as a public defender in Northwest Arizona. Over five years, he represented clients in a variety of criminal cases, from murder to DUI. His dedication was evident when an alleged victim expressed admiration for his defense skills, and a juror sought his business card post-acquittal. With over 50 criminal trials under his belt, David understands the value of a holistic defense strategy, consulting with mental health professionals and exploring alternative sentencing to achieve favorable results.

At Corbett & Pankratz, PLLC, David continues to leverage his extensive trial experience and innovative problem-solving skills to advocate for his clients. He is committed to exploring every avenue to uphold their rights and achieve the best possible outcomes. Outside of his legal practice, David is an avid soccer player with Fox Hollow Brigade SC and enjoys camping with his family, where he shares Edgar Allen Poe stories by the campfire. He is also fluent in Spanish.
