Maria Isabel Cueva

Maria Isabel Cueva is a dedicated U.S. Immigration Lawyer with extensive experience representing both individuals and corporations globally. Specializing in family-based petitions, she offers her expertise across all 50 states. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Ms. Cueva is a first-generation immigrant who moved to the U.S. at eight years old. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, supported by the Larry H. and Gail Miller Enrichment Scholarship throughout her undergraduate studies. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, she was honored by the Psi Chi National Honors Society and PHI KAPPA PHI Honors Society.

Ms. Cueva received her Juris Doctorate from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. During her studies, she clerked for the Honorable William Nixon at the United States Executive Office for Immigration Review in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduation, she practiced immigration law in Seattle and British Columbia, gaining recognition for managing complex cases. She was then recruited by a national law firm in Orange County, California, to establish an immigration division. After two years in California, she returned to Utah to found her own law firm.

Driven by the fulfillment of guiding clients through the intricate legal landscape of immigration law, Ms. Cueva's fluency in Spanish and deep understanding of Hispanic culture enable her to effectively address the unique needs of her clients. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyer's Association, licensed to practice law in Washington State. The federal nature of U.S. immigration law allows her to represent clients nationwide.
