Steven Kent Burton

Steven Kent Burton stands out as one of Utah's leading criminal defense attorneys. His career commenced in prosecution, allowing him to gain comprehensive knowledge of Domestic Violence Courts, Drug Courts, and DUI Courts. With over 6,000 hours spent in court, Steven has argued more cases than many attorneys achieve in a lifetime.

Recently, Steven concluded his tenure as President of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. His expertise in domestic violence defense, DOPL defense, and criminal legislative affairs has led to numerous invitations to train fellow attorneys. His successful practice spans appearances before city, county, and district judges across the state.

Currently, Steven focuses exclusively on criminal defense in Utah, with a particular emphasis on violent crimes and domestic violence defense.
