Mr. Skyler Anderson

Skyler Anderson is a founding partner of ANDERSON & BENSON, with a career deeply rooted in immigration law. His dedication to this field began in law school through pro bono clinics and internships. As an attorney, Skyler has adeptly guided clients through complex immigration processes, including U.S. embassies, consulates, and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. His legal expertise has led to significant published decisions in both state and federal appellate courts.

Skyler's passion for foreign cultures was enriched by his two-year residency in southern Chile, where he became fluent in Spanish. Upon returning to the U.S., he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University in 2007, followed by a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2009.

Skyler has served on the executive committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) for four years. He has also held leadership roles and volunteered at the Horizonte Pro Bono Immigration Clinic since 2008.

His early career includes a role as a judicial clerk for the Immigration Court in Salt Lake City, Utah. Skyler's contributions to the minority community have been recognized by the NAACP, and he is a recipient of the College of Law Outstanding Achievement Award in Immigration Law.
