Jaclyn Jane Robertson

Jaclyn J. Robertson is a dedicated attorney with a focus on divorce and family law matters. Practicing in Midvale, Utah, she leverages her substantial experience as a former prosecutor to benefit her clients. Licensed in both California and Utah, Jaclyn has honed her skills in litigation and advocacy.

During her tenure with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s office, Jaclyn gained valuable courtroom experience by managing hundreds of cases from initial screening to jury verdicts. Her role on the domestic violence team and as the special victims prosecutor for the juvenile team provided her with deep insights into complex legal issues, which she now applies to her family law practice.

After leaving the District Attorney’s office, Jaclyn shifted her focus almost entirely to divorce and family law. She manages a diverse range of cases, from straightforward asset division to high-conflict custody disputes and complex marital estates. Her approach aims to resolve issues fairly, helping clients recover and move forward post-divorce. Jaclyn is committed to advocating for her clients through the challenging processes of divorce, custody resolutions, and enforcement or modification of existing orders.

Jaclyn's legal career began in 2005 at Porter Simon, a law firm in California, where she worked as a civil litigation associate on domestic disputes and personal injury cases. In 2006, she spent a year in Washington DC as a Legal Assistant in a United States Congressional Office, drafting legal memoranda and Op Eds.

Originally from Canada, Jaclyn is fluent in French and enjoys exploring the Utah Mountains through hiking and biking. She cherishes time with her two children, engaging in adventures around Salt Lake City.
