Sean T. Carpenter

Sean T. Carpenter is the Managing Attorney of the Salt Lake City office of Wilner & O’Reilly. Admitted to the Utah State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Utah, he is highly skilled in all facets of immigration law. Mr. Carpenter's practice areas include family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, U-Visas, 601 waivers, and investment-based immigration cases.

Before his current role, Mr. Carpenter gained valuable experience at the immigration firm of Thomas and Jefferies, PLLC in Phoenix, Arizona. He also served the Executive Office for Immigration Review in both Eloy and Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Carpenter is an accomplished author of several articles on immigration matters and actively participates in pro bono work, assisting indigent clients with immigration issues. He earned his bachelor's degree in Spanish Translation from Brigham Young University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he contributed to the Law Journal as an associate editor.

Currently, Mr. Carpenter holds the position of Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Intermountain Relocation Council. This non-profit organization aids businesses in managing employee relocations to and from the United States. Residing in Salt Lake City, he enjoys life with his wife and two children.
