About Shane D. Gosdis

Shane D. Gosdis grew up in Millcreek, Utah, and pursued his education at the University of Utah, where he graduated as a Lowell L. Bennion Service Learning Scholar with a degree in Political Science and a minor in English. He then attended Cornell Law School in New York, contributing to the Cornell Law Review and working as an extern for Chief Judge Frederick Scullin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

After completing law school, Shane embarked on his legal career as a corporate defense attorney at the renowned firm Snell & Wilmer, followed by a position at DLA Piper, the largest law firm in the world. During this time, he represented major corporations in complex litigation, including personal injury and product liability cases nationwide.

Driven by a desire to make a more personal impact, Shane transitioned to personal injury law, joining a national law firm as the managing attorney for the Intermountain region. He litigated complex personal injury cases across Utah and Arizona, ultimately founding Gosdis Law to focus on representing seriously injured clients in Utah.
