About Theodore Kramer
Theodore C. Kramer, born in Levittown, New York on June 23, 1957, has been a practicing attorney in Brattleboro, Vermont since 1983. He was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 1983, the U.S. District Court, District of Vermont in 1986, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit in 1988.
Ted earned his B.A. from Middlebury College in 1979 and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law School in 1983. He gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Hon. Albert Coffrin at the U.S. District Court, District of Vermont in 1981.
From 1992 to 2000, he served as chairman of the Human Services Board. In 2000, he was appointed by Governor Dean to represent Vermont at the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, with subsequent reappointments by Governors Douglas, Shumlin, and Scott.
Ted is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Brattleboro Boys & Girls Club, Inc.â„¢ and as a member of the Brattleboro Rotary Club. His sources of inspiration include his family and influential figures such as Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr.
