Daniel Seff

Daniel Seff joined MSK in February 2017, bringing with him over twenty-one years of experience in diverse commercial litigation from two leading Vermont law firms. He adeptly represents individuals, businesses, and government entities throughout the adversarial process, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings, as well as mediation and arbitration.

Daniel is known for his professional experience, creativity, and practical approach to resolving disputes. He strives for amicable settlements but is fully prepared to litigate when necessary. His legal journey began after graduating from NYU Law School in 1990, when he joined Proskauer, one of New York City’s most established law firms.

During his tenure at Proskauer, Daniel honed his skills in a broad range of areas, including general commercial, labor and employment, antitrust, securities, international, bankruptcy, banking, estates, communications, and products liability litigation. In 1996, he returned to Vermont, where he has continued to maintain a dynamic commercial litigation practice.

Beyond his commercial litigation expertise, Daniel has successfully litigated precedent-setting cases in Native American law, showcasing his ability to handle complex and impactful legal matters.
