Jon Patrick Bourdon

Jon Patrick Bourdon is a distinguished litigator with licenses in Virginia and Washington, DC. Originally hailing from Rhode Island, Jon completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Following his undergraduate studies, he served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and later contributed as a defense contractor at the United States Army installation at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Jon furthered his legal education at the Catholic University of America School of Law, where he actively participated in the Society of Trial Advocates and Moot Court.

Jon's career commenced at the City of Alexandria Public Defender’s Office, where he managed thousands of cases, focusing extensively on domestic violence. He then transitioned to a law firm in downtown Washington, DC, where he served as the managing attorney. His practice included family law, immigration, and criminal and traffic matters, with a predominant focus on divorce and custody cases.

Before establishing Bourdon & Tortolero, Jon's comprehensive experience in both family and criminal law provided him with a unique perspective, making him particularly adept at navigating complex legal intersections.
