Kathleen M. Stotish

Kathleen M. Stotish, originally from central New Jersey, has been a resident of northern Virginia for nearly ten years. Her legal practice is centered on business transactions and commercial litigation, with additional expertise in collections/creditors' rights and family law. She holds certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Guardian Ad Litem for Incapacitated Adults.

Ms. Stotish earned her Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from the Washington College of Law at American University in 2012. Her legal experience during law school includes working as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Jonathan Gelber, PLLC, and interning with both the Honorable J. Michael Ryan at the Washington D.C. Superior Court and the United States Sentencing Commission. She also served as a student attorney in the General Practice Legal Clinic and was the Director of Programming and Development for the Student Health Law & Justice Society.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained in 2005.

Ms. Stotish is active in community service, having been a member of the Council of Young Professionals for Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) of Northern Virginia. She has also volunteered as an English teacher for Sudanese refugees in Cairo, Egypt, teaching from beginner to advanced levels.
