Kimberly Hughes Phillips

Kimberly Hughes Phillips has been practicing Family Law since her graduation from law school in 2005. She provides expert guidance to clients on issues such as divorce, equitable distribution, child custody and visitation, as well as spousal and child support and adoptions. As an adoptive parent, Kimberly deeply appreciates the joy of forming a family through adoption and is passionate about assisting others in this meaningful process. Her personal experience with adoption allows her to relate to both adoptive and birth families, understanding the significance of creating a lasting family bond.

Practicing Family Law in a military community presents unique challenges, which Kimberly is well-equipped to handle. Having been a military dependent throughout her life, she possesses a comprehensive understanding of military culture, benefits, and ranks. Her father served in the United States Navy, retiring as a Master Chief after 30 years, and her husband served as an Infantry Officer in the Army for 26 years, retiring as a Colonel. This personal background provides Kimberly with the insight and expertise needed to address the specific family law needs of military members and their families.
