Michael Salasky

Michael Salasky has dedicated over four decades to building a successful personal injury practice, representing numerous clients who have suffered injuries through no fault of their own. His commitment to justice has resulted in significant financial awards for his clients. Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, Michael is an alumnus of Norfolk Academy. He earned his B.A. in English from Tufts University in Boston and received his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1977.

Michael began his legal career as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Norfolk, where he prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, from traffic violations to murder. After a period as an associate in a private law office, he established his own practice in 1982.

Before focusing exclusively on personal injury cases, Michael gained extensive experience in various legal areas, including divorce, custody, real estate, collections, bankruptcy, construction law, contract disputes, and criminal cases. His practice now centers on advocating for those injured.

Throughout his career, Michael has been actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. He has also served as a judge on City of Norfolk grievance panels and contributed to local civic groups.

Michael is married to Prue Salasky, a retired educator, journalist, and editorial writer. Together, they have three daughters.
