Adriana F. Estevez

Adriana F. Estevez was born in New York and pursued her education in Washington, D.C. She earned a B.A. in International Affairs, Philosophy, and Political Science from The George Washington University in 2009, followed by a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2013. During her time in law school, Adriana worked with nonprofit organizations in Virginia and Washington, D.C., focusing on immigration cases involving domestic violence survivors, crime victims, children, and families.

After graduating, Adriana moved to Virginia and became a licensed attorney. She began her legal career at the Yao Law Firm, P.C., where she honed her skills in immigration and family law. In 2015, following a merger, she joined Woehrle Dahlberg Jones and Yao, PLLC in Fairfax, Virginia. Here, she expanded her practice to include elder law and estate planning.

Adriana is a certified Guardian Ad Litem and communicates fluently in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She actively participates in the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, and the American Bar Association. Her professional excellence has been recognized by Super Lawyers Rising Stars since 2020 and she was named an Elite Lawyer starting in 2024. Her commitment to public service has been acknowledged through awards like the Public Interest Fellowship from the Hispanic Bar Association of DC, the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award from Equal Justice Works, and a Legal Services Fellowship from Equal Justice America.

Her extensive practice areas include Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJ) and related processes, Deferred Action and Employment Authorization, Immediate Relative Visas, Family Preference Visas, Work Authorization for Spouses and Dependents, and appeals for denied employment-based applications, among others.
