Broderick C. Dunn

Broderick C. Dunn has dedicated his career to assisting individuals and small businesses with navigating litigation, avoiding disputes, and addressing Employment Law issues. He is recognized as a leader in the commercial litigation and employment sectors, frequently writing and speaking on Virginia's employment laws, workplace harassment and assault, social media in the workplace, and business torts. Broderick regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as before private arbitrators, mediators, and administrative agencies.

Broderick graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American Studies. He earned his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2007, where he was awarded the Claytor Family Endowment Scholarship. He has practiced law in Virginia and Maryland, representing clients in a variety of employment and business matters, and also appears in federal courts in the District of Columbia.

Active within the legal community, Broderick is a member of the Executive Committee of the Virginia Bar Association Labor and Employment Section, the Leadership Committee of the Fairfax Bar Association’s Employment Section, and the Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Association.

Beyond his legal practice, Broderick is committed to community service. In 2014, he was appointed to the Fairfax County Civil Service Commission. He later became the Braddock District Commissioner on the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority in 2020. Broderick serves as a class agent for Woodberry Forest School’s annual fund and was elected to its Board of Trustees in 2021. He also acts as a 2004 class agent for Williams College’s annual fund, demonstrating his dedication to community involvement.
