Philip Wilson Van Winkle

Philip Wilson “Wil” Van Winkle serves as an associate attorney at Allen & Allen in Fredericksburg, Virginia, focusing on car accident and personal injury cases. As a fourth-generation member of the Allen family, Wil is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of personal injury law.

Wil earned his B.A. in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. During his time there, he was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society and consistently made the Dean’s List from 2012 to 2014. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville, Virginia. At law school, he was an active competitor on the Extramural Moot Court Team and contributed to the Legal Aid Justice Center.

Prior to his current role, Wil gained valuable experience as a law clerk at the National Association of Attorneys General in Washington, D.C. He also honed his skills as a writer and marketing intern and served as a Summer Associate at Allen & Allen.

Outside of his professional life, Wil enjoys traveling, backpacking, road and trail biking, and playing ultimate Frisbee. His recent adventures include a backpacking trip to Peru.
