Courtney Van Winkle is a partner at the firm, committed to representing clients in personal injury, brain injury cases, and wrongful death claims. Operating out of the Richmond office, she serves clients not only in Short Pump, Midlothian, and Mechanicsville but across Virginia as well.

Since joining the firm in 1990, Courtney has achieved numerous courtroom victories. Her dedication extends beyond legal results; she is deeply passionate about the individuals she represents. "I'm a people person," she notes, emphasizing her enjoyment in building personal relationships with clients. She finds inspiration in their resilience and determination to recover from injuries caused by others.

Courtney's experience includes successfully resolving many cases involving children, drawing on her own experiences as a mother of four. Her expertise in working with young clients is enhanced by her lectures on "Children as Witnesses" and her contribution to a training video for lawyers and judges on the special considerations required when children are involved in legal proceedings.

Courtney is known for her vigorous advocacy against insurance companies to protect her clients' rights. Notably, she pursued a case to the Virginia Supreme Court to secure justice for a 12-year-old client whose insurance company unjustly denied medical bill payments.
