Jacob N Tingen

Jacob N Tingen graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law and became a member of the Virginia Bar in 2012. Within a month of his admission, he established his own law firm, which has expanded from a home office to a full-fledged practice with multiple attorneys and staff. The firm serves thousands of clients not only in Virginia but also internationally.

A major focus of Jacob's practice is immigration law, where he has managed over a thousand cases. These include family-based green cards, DACA, deportation defense, and business immigration matters such as H-1B and EB-5 visas. He is also the principal of Utah Global Investments, a designated EB-5 Regional Center.

In addition to his immigration work, Jacob leads litigation concerning the detention and treatment of immigrants. He shares his expertise as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Richmond School of Law, teaching an Immigrant Rights practicum course.

Beyond immigration, Jacob assists businesses and non-profits with a variety of legal issues. His services include branding, marketing, trademark registration, business registration, management, and contract law.
