Satnam Singh

Satnam Singh leads both Satnam Singh, PC and the American Immigration Law Office, PLC, bringing extensive legal expertise since 1988. He holds admissions to the Supreme Court of Virginia, multiple US Courts of Appeals, and the US Supreme Court, among others. His practice is focused on Litigation, Appeals, Consular Processing, Waivers, Family Immigration, Naturalization, I-9 Review and Audits, and Business Immigration.

Singh earned his LL.B. from Delhi University, India, and furthered his education with a J.D. (Eq.) and LL.M. from William & Mary Law School, VA. He also holds a M.A. in Instructional Technology from San Jose State University, CA, as well as a M.A. (Politics: International Relations) and M.Phil. (International Studies) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.

His commitment to the legal community is evident through his volunteer work with various AILA National and Local Committees. He serves as a Board Member of the Virginia State Bar International Practice Section and has chaired the ABA’s GP/Solo International Law Section. Notably, he represented the petitioner in the case of Adolfo Rendon BRACAMONTES v. Eric H. HOLDER, 675 F.3d 380 (4th Cir. 2012), and has extensive experience litigating immigration cases in federal District Courts and Courts of Appeals across Virginia and other states.
