Von Piersall

Von L. Piersall, III established his law practice in 2001, focusing on personal injury, criminal law, and family law. His firm has become well-regarded for its comprehensive legal services. Von holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from East Carolina University, a Master of Science in Counseling from Longwood College, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond.

Before embarking on his legal career, Von was committed to supporting youth through roles with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice, the Pines Treatment Center, and a group home in Norfolk. He has extensive courtroom experience, having argued cases at all levels of Virginia courts, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, as well as the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Von's professional roles have included serving as a Divorce Commissioner for the Portsmouth Circuit Court and participating on Portsmouth's Juvenile Conference Committee for the Friends of Portsmouth Juvenile Court. Currently, he provides legal representation to indigent clients as court-appointed counsel in Portsmouth Courts. Von is also an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and holds the position of Treasurer of the Portsmouth Bar Association.
