Son 'Sonny' Nguyen

Sonny Nguyen brings a unique perspective to his legal practice in Auburn, Washington, shaped by his heritage as a first-generation Vietnamese American. His father, Thu-Ba Nguyen, was among the early 'boat people' refugees from South Vietnam, enduring years of political imprisonment before fleeing with a young Sonny.

Bilingual in Vietnamese and English, Sonny pursued his legal education with determination. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2015, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Willamette University, specializing in Mediation and Arbitration.

Growing up in Seattle, Sonny developed a strong commitment to advocating for justice within his community. His personal experiences as a refugee have deepened his understanding of human rights and injustices, fueling his dedication to his clients. Sonny's compassionate approach and legal expertise have consistently led to successful outcomes.

Outside of his legal work, Sonny enjoys participating in the choir at the Vietnamese Parish Church with his wife and cooking on weekends. He is inspired by the teachings of Buddha, Confucius, and Jesus, striving for personal growth and excellence each day.
