Courtney James Will

Courtney James Will was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, fostering a lifelong interest in the legal system. His journey led him to Southern California, where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at Pepperdine University.

During his studies, Courtney gained invaluable experience through internships at multiple Prosecutor’s offices, the FBI, and the United States Attorney’s Offices. After completing his education, he chose to remain in Southern California, where he began his career as a criminal defense attorney in one of the nation's busiest court systems.

Courtney has represented thousands of clients across a wide range of cases, from DUI offenses to serious sex crimes and murder. He is passionate about advocating for his clients in jury trials when it serves their best interests, having successfully conducted numerous trials. His expertise in defending those accused of sex crimes was notably developed through his involvement with Dateline NBC’s 'To Catch A Predator' show, where he was the first attorney to take such a case to trial, resulting in a dismissal of all charges.

After nearly a decade practicing in Los Angeles and the surrounding counties, Courtney returned to Washington to reopen WILL & WILL. He is thrilled to defend the accused in his home state, steadfastly protecting their constitutional rights.
