Lisa Nicole Ellis

Lisa Nicole Ellis, Principal of Ellis Law, LLC, has been serving clients in King County since 2013. Her legal expertise spans Trust and Estate Planning, Alzheimer/Dementia Planning, Probate, Adult Guardianships, and Special Needs Trusts. Lisa was admitted to the Washington Bar in 2000 and has a strong commitment to her community.

Lisa's academic journey began at Whitman College for her undergraduate studies, followed by earning a law degree from The University of Oregon, where she served as an executive editor of The Oregon Law Review. Her professional career includes a significant role as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice, attained through the U.S. Attorney General's Honors Program. She also clerked for the Honorable Robert H. Whaley at the U.S. District Court of Eastern Washington.

Before founding Ellis Law, LLC in 2013, Lisa gained valuable experience at a downtown Seattle law firm in 2004. Her professional affiliations include membership in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Washington Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Lisa has received a perfect 10.0 rating on Avvo and was recognized as a Rising Star in 2011 and a Super Lawyer in 2023 and 2024 by Washington Super Lawyers.

Lisa enjoys practicing law in the community where she grew up. Outside of her legal work, she finds joy in traveling, participating in group exercise classes, and gardening.
