Heather Forrler

Heather Forrler serves as the Managing Attorney at Compass Legal Services, P.S., a prominent law firm based in Silverdale, Washington. Her practice extends across Kitsap County, encompassing areas such as Port Orchard, Bremerton, Silverdale, Seabeck, Kingston, Hansville, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, and neighboring regions. Heather offers comprehensive legal services, including estate planning, family law, divorce proceedings, and support for new business startups and incorporations. She also acts as a Registered Agent for domestic corporations registered with the Washington Secretary of State.

Heather embarked on her legal career in 1996 as a legal assistant, gaining initial experience with a family law attorney followed by a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney. During her law school tenure, she interned with a personal injury firm and successfully argued two cases in the Court of Appeals in her third year. She passed the bar exam on her first attempt and was admitted to practice in October 2002. Initially focusing on personal injury law until 2006, Heather transitioned to estate planning and began studying family law.

In 2008, Heather commenced her practice in family law, primarily handling uncontested cases, which soon expanded to include contested divorce matters. Her personal experiences with divorce, combined with her professional background, enable her to empathize deeply with her clients' emotional needs. Heather is dedicated to helping clients maintain any positive aspects of their relationships, especially when children are involved.

Heather is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association, Kitsap County Bar Association, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
