Schoen Parnell

Schoen Parnell established his private law practice, Parnell Defense, in 2006, bringing with him a wealth of experience as one of Washington's leading criminal defense lawyers. His legal journey began after graduating from law school in 1998, starting his career as a public defender. He later advanced to become the former lead jury trial attorney at one of Washington's busiest DUI defense law firms, gaining extensive knowledge of the DUI process and a strong reputation for his willingness to go to trial.

Over the past 22 years, Schoen has tried hundreds of cases and has been a speaker at numerous DUI seminars for attorneys across Washington. He is an active member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL) and serves on its legislative committee. This role involves monitoring proposed state legislation and testifying before Washington state house and senate committees, ensuring that clients' rights are protected and that he remains informed about legislative changes affecting defense strategies.
