Shane McKinnie

Shane McKinnie brings a wealth of experience to his legal practice in Everett, Washington. As a former criminal prosecutor, he has honed his skills in both large and small law firms throughout the Seattle area. A proud fourth-generation Washingtonian, Shane has deep roots in Snohomish County. He attended Washington State University, where he was an Honors College member and fraternity president. Following his undergraduate studies, Shane joined the U.S. Navy via Officer Candidate School, becoming an Ensign in 2001.

During his nearly nine years of active-duty service, Shane served as a mission commander and tactics officer, flying the P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft. He continues his military service in the Navy Reserve at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, recently achieving the rank of commander.

Shane's military accolades include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. His academic credentials are equally impressive, with a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University, an MA in National Security from the Naval War College, and a JD from Seattle University School of Law.
