Son 'Sonny' Nguyen

Sonny Nguyen is a passionate advocate for justice, deeply rooted in his Vietnamese American heritage. As the son of Thu-Ba Nguyen, one of the early South Vietnamese 'boat people,' Sonny's life was shaped by his father's experiences as a political prisoner and refugee. This profound background has fueled Sonny's dedication to serving his community in Federal Way, Washington.

Growing up in Seattle, Sonny developed a strong commitment to protecting the rights of his community members. His bilingual fluency in Vietnamese and English allows him to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds. Sonny's legal journey led him to earn his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2015, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Willamette University, specializing in Mediation and Arbitration.

Sonny's personal experiences have endowed him with a unique perspective on justice and humanity's struggles. His compassion and legal expertise have consistently driven successful outcomes for his clients. Beyond his legal practice, Sonny enjoys singing in the choir at the Vietnamese Parish Church with his wife and indulging in cooking during weekends. His life is guided by the teachings of Buddha, Confucius, and Jesus, as he strives to become the best version of himself every day.
