Aaron Nielson

Aaron Nielson began his legal career as a city prosecutor before advancing to prosecute felony crimes for the government. He transitioned into private practice, focusing on criminal matters such as DUIs, Sex Crimes, White Collar Crimes, and Drug Distribution. Aaron expanded his practice by obtaining licenses in both Utah and Washington, establishing offices in each state. His firm diversified its services to include bankruptcy, wills & estates, and family law, covering divorce, child custody, and parental rights, alongside all areas of criminal law.

Aaron's extensive government experience includes serving as a public defender across city, state, and federal courts, as well as roles such as Administrative Law Judge, Judge Pro Tem, and Special Investigator. He has also worked as a Whistleblower Investigator and advisor to various governmental departments, including the Division of Commerce, Department of Labor, and the States AG's office, particularly in parental rights and termination actions.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the backlog of homicide cases, Aaron returned to the prosecutor's office to assist in trying cases. He intends to continue his career with the District Attorney's Office. Aaron holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a Juris Doctorate in Law.

He is a member of the Washington State Bar, Utah State Bar, the U.S. District Court of Western Washington, and the U.S. District Court of Utah.
