Edward James Barton offers over 25 years of expertise in turnaround management, financial and executive roles. He has a comprehensive background in leading accounting and finance teams, tax consulting, audit preparation, and risk management. His experience extends to underwriting and modeling for a large consumer credit debt buyer and managing equity structured finance commitments. He has also overseen audits for PCI DSS compliance and SAS 70 certification.

Ed has provided consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses on tax planning, financial operations, and transaction structuring with CFO Selections in Bellevue, Washington.

Prior to his move to Seattle, Ed held various financial consulting roles, including multi-state tax preparation and professional services financial management. His military service as an Army engineer officer fueled his dedication to operational efficiency.

Licensed to practice law in California and Washington, as well as in the Federal Courts of the Southern District of California, US Tax Courts, 9th Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court, Ed is well-versed in legal matters.

He holds licenses as a certified public accountant in Washington State and Florida and has been a chartered financial analyst since 1998.
