Justin William Aanenson

Justin William Aanenson developed a passion for law inspired by his grandfather's courtroom stories in Helena, Montana. This passion led him to become a licensed attorney in Washington State in 2012. He established Truce Law to offer clients a constructive approach to family law issues, focusing on simplifying the divorce process and aiding in amicable resolutions.

Justin is a collaboratively trained attorney and certified mediator, recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2022 to 2025, an accolade given to less than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. His academic credentials include a law degree from Seattle University School of Law, where he was a Washington State Scholar, an honor for the top 1% of applicants. He also holds a degree in business administration with majors in finance and marketing from the University of Washington and has completed a certificate in Popular Fiction Writing at UW.

Outside his legal practice, Justin enjoys fly fishing, playing Commander—a Magic: The Gathering variant—and is actively pursuing his goal of shooting par in golf.
