Aaron Nielson

Aaron Nielson began his legal career as a city prosecutor before advancing to prosecuting felony crimes for the government. Transitioning into private practice, he focused on criminal matters such as DUIs, Sex Crimes, White Collar Crimes, and Drug Distribution. Aaron expanded his practice by becoming licensed in both Utah and Washington, establishing offices in each state.

His firm initially concentrated on criminal law but later broadened its scope to encompass bankruptcy, wills & estates, and family law, including divorce, child custody, and parental rights. Aaron has held numerous government contracts, serving as a public defender across city, state, and federal courts. He has also acted as an Administrative Law Judge, Judge Pro Tem, Special Investigator, and Whistleblower Investigator. Additionally, he has advised the Division of Commerce, Department of Labor, the State Attorney General's Office, and DCFS on parental rights and termination actions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aaron returned to the prosecutor's office to address the backlog of homicide cases awaiting trial. He intends to continue his work with the District Attorney's Office for the remainder of his career.

Aaron holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a Juris Doctorate in Law. He is a member of the Washington State Bar, Utah State Bar, the U.S. District Court of Western Washington, and the U.S. District Court of Utah.
