Christopher Kirk Steuart

Christopher Kirk Steuart serves as a trial attorney with the Lawrence Kahn Law Group, where he advocates for individuals harmed by others' negligence, including cases of medical malpractice, automobile accidents, and slip and fall incidents.

Since January 2003, Mr. Steuart has been an author with Cengage Learning, contributing to the Guide to Computer Forensics and Investigations from its 1st through 6th editions, as well as E-Discovery: An Introduction to Digital Evidence.

Prior to his current role, he managed his own practice at the Law Office of Christopher K. Steuart. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of Washington, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. A notable case during this period was Duvall v. County of Kitsap, et al.

From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Steuart was Vice-President and General Counsel for IT Forensics, Inc., where he advised attorneys on formulating questions for examiners, reviewed and critiqued expert reports, and prepared examiners for trial testimony. He co-authored "The Digital Forensic Experts Guide to Success in Cross-Examination" with David C. Eisler in 2013.

Between 2007 and 2013, he instructed at the University of Washington's Digital Forensics Certificate Program. His teaching covered court system structures, laws on evidence acquisition and presentation, and involved conducting direct examinations of students on their qualifications and reports.
