About Ellie Hassani
Ellie Hassani, Esq, began her journey in Iran, where she excelled academically, ranking 344 in the University Entrance Exam, leading her to earn a Bachelor of Law degree in 2009. She further advanced her studies by securing a rank of 63 in her Master’s program in Criminal Law and Criminology. After practicing law in Iran, Ellie relocated to the United States in 2017.
In 2018, Ellie took the LSAT and was admitted to the Appalachian School of Law (ASL) in Virginia in 2020. Her academic excellence earned her a Dean Scholarship. During her time at ASL, she gained valuable experience through an internship with the Honorable Justice Cleo E. Powell at the Supreme Court of Virginia.
While at ASL, Ellie met her husband, Ryan, who hails from Charleston, West Virginia. Following her graduation, she moved to Charleston, where she resides with Ryan and their dog, Rosie. Ellie successfully passed the bar exam and is now practicing law.
