Yvonne Costelloe

Yvonne Costelloe is a committed attorney based in Dunbar, West Virginia, focusing on social security law with the Jan Dils team since June 2011. She holds a degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in Ohio, where she specialized in Personal and Transactional Law.

Before attending law school, Yvonne earned her undergraduate degree in criminal justice and pre-law from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2011. During her time at law school, she gained valuable experience as a clerk for a criminal defense firm and completed an externship at the Erie County Court of Common Pleas. Her dedication to advocacy was further demonstrated through her volunteer work as a CASA Guardian ad Litem.

Yvonne's career in social services prior to law school involved assisting individuals living independently with their medication, appointments, and daily activities. She also worked in a treatment center for juvenile girls and provided behavioral intervention for children requiring therapeutic support in school settings. This background in social services inspired her to pursue law, aiming to make a broader impact by advocating for those in need.

Yvonne is an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta, Ohio Bar Association, and Dayton Bar Association. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, family, and friends, and has a passion for traveling, reading, and exploring new experiences.
