About Brad C. Schweiger
Brad C. Schweiger, a founding partner at Richter & Schweiger, LLP, focuses his practice on family law litigation. With training as a mediator, he also acts as a Guardian ad Litem, helping families navigate their legal challenges. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He earned his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Computer and Information Law (JCIL) and contributed a published comment. Brad completed a 40-hour Family & Divorce Mediation Training Certificate Program at DePaul University College of Law. Returning to his native Wisconsin in 2011, Brad has dedicated his career to assisting families in achieving their goals during challenging times. His volunteer work at the Vera Court Neighborhood Center Legal Clinic contributed to its receipt of the 2024 Community Partner Award from the Dane County Bar Association.
Brad also serves on his local Zoning Board of Appeals and has been elected to the State Bar of Wisconsin Family Law Section Board of Directors. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, hiking, and traveling.
