About Nicole Masnica
Nicole M. Masnica serves as a Partner at Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where her commitment to client service and community improvement is paramount. Nicole has extensive experience in Southeastern Wisconsin's circuit courts, both as a trial attorney and an appellate advocate.
Before her current role, Nicole dedicated nine years to the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office. There, she represented numerous individuals throughout various stages of criminal litigation, from pre-charging conferences to appellate representation and administrative revocation proceedings. Her courtroom successes include multiple jury trials and securing post-conviction relief for clients. As a State Public Defender, she contributed to the Waukesha County Drug and Alcohol Treatment Courts from the defense perspective.
Beyond traditional criminal defense, Nicole has represented clients in termination of parental rights appeals, pursued civil writs of habeas corpus in state and federal courts for Wisconsin inmates, and argued cases before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Nicole earned her B.A. in Political Science with Minors in Sociology & Philosophy from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2006.
