About Breanne M. Bucher
Breanne M. Bucher has been a valuable member of the firm since April 2014. Before joining, she gained experience as an associate attorney at a general practice law firm in Waukesha County. Breanne is a proud alumna of Valparaiso University School of Law, graduating in 2010 and successfully passing the Wisconsin Bar Examination on her first attempt.
During her time in law school, Breanne honed her skills as a member of the Valparaiso Law Criminal Law Clinic, where she represented indigent clients facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to violent felonies. Her commitment to criminal defense was further strengthened during her internship with the Lake County Public Defender’s Office in Indiana. Although initially focused on criminal law, Breanne's interest expanded to include family and juvenile law, leading her to routinely accept Guardian ad Litem and advocate counsel appointments in Waukesha County. Her practice also encompasses placement and custody disputes, child support modifications, CHIPS cases, and termination of parental rights.
Beyond family and juvenile law, Breanne dedicates a substantial portion of her practice to OWI defense and municipal law. Her leadership skills were recognized during her tenure as the president of her law school’s branch of Phi Alpha Delta, a prominent national legal fraternity. Since 2011, she has actively participated in the Association of Women Lawyers, contributing to their Public Outreach Committee.
Breanne's commitment to community service is evident through her membership in the United Way Volunteer Advisory Committee of Waukesha County and her role as Chair of the Juvenile Law Section of the Waukesha County Bar Association. In 2013, she was honored as the “Rookie of the Year” by the Waukesha County Bar Association Board of Directors. Breanne also serves as a guest Teen Court Judge and volunteers at the Waukesha County Family Legal Clinic. Residing in Waukesha, she eagerly engages with both the legal community and the community at large.
