Matthew Peter Grupp

Matthew Grupp serves as the managing attorney and CEO of The Grupp Law Firm LLC in Afton, Wyoming. He is dedicated to championing his clients' needs, particularly in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and family office services. His extensive experience includes working as a Private Family Trust Company and Family Office executive, representing ultra-affluent clients such as entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and families with inherited wealth.

From 1997 to 2005, Matthew was a Senior Tax Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. During this period, he specialized in tax structuring for strategic and private equity mergers and acquisitions, honing his expertise in complex financial transactions.

Matthew's academic credentials include a B.A. in Classical Languages (Greek and Latin) and Philosophy from the University of Montana, a J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law, and a M.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Christian Wisdom from Holy Apostles College & Seminary.

His professional affiliations reflect his commitment to the legal community. He is involved with the Wyoming State Bar Estate Planning, Elder Law, Trust & Probate Section and has served as Past President of the Wyoming State Bar Business Law Section. Matthew is also a member of The Wealth Counsel, Family Office Exchange, the American Bar Association, and the Wyoming, Idaho, and New York State Bar Associations. Beyond his legal practice, he contributes as a Catholic Parish Adult Religious Education Volunteer.
