William Winter

William Winter, a distinguished attorney in Lander, Wyoming, has been serving clients since 1994. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming, College of Law in 1987 after completing a B.S. in Administration of Justice in 1984. His professional journey began in Arizona, where he was admitted to the bar in 1987, followed by Colorado in 1993, though he is currently inactive in both states.

In his early career, William served as Deputy County Attorney at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in Phoenix, Arizona, from 1988 to 1995. He has been the President of Winter Law Firm PC since 1995, focusing on estate planning, trust, and probate law.

William is a published authority, contributing to books such as LEGACY: Plan, Protect and Preserve Your Estate and GENERATIONS: Planning Your Legacy. He also created and appeared in a Wyoming PBS series, LEAVE A LEGACY, showcasing his expertise in estate planning.

As a Life Member International WHO'S WHO of Professionals and a member of WealthCounsel and Lawyers with Purpose, William has been recognized among the 2014 Top 100 Lawyers in America. He is actively involved in the Wyoming State Bar Section on Estate Planning, Trust & Probate.
